OUR PROJECTS

You may have seen the Sew What displays out on the church patio on Sundays from time to time. We love to share what we do with all generations. We want to make sure you know that no matter your skill level, beginner or experienced, YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN US! You do NOT need to know how to sew at all. If you enjoying serving and want to learn a new skill, we would love to teach you! Please check out a few pictures & details of some of the projects we work on throughout the year...

  • Pillow Cases for CASE FOR SMILES

Ryan's Case for Smiles is dedicated to helping sick children cope with the stress of life changing illnesses and injuries. By providing children with whimsical pillowcases, we give them an emotional boost and remind them they are not defined by their illnesses.

  • Lap Quilts for MEALS ON WHEELS

Meals on Wheels serves seniors and people with disabilities in need of a hot meal and daily visit from a friendly face. We help by making lap quilts in which are a lovely extra to bring to meal recipients.

  • Baby Quilts & Layette Sets for OHANA

Ohana Health Pregnancy Clinic is a compassionate Christian ministry offering life-affirming services to those who are faced with unplanned pregnancies. We help by making quilts and layette sets to be distributed by this amazing organization.

  • Wheelchair Bags/Cushion Covers for JONI & FRIENDS

Joni & Friends Wheels for the World program provides life changing mobility along with the hope of the Gospel to people impacted by disability around the world. They restore wheelchairs and send them out to someone in need. We make bags for the back of the wheelchairs and covers for the cushions.
