We are so excited for our annual Winter Camp up at Angeles Crest Christian Camp February 20-22. We leave Friday after school and return Sunday mid-afternoon...48 hours of CrAzY fUn!!! Here's what Angeles Crest says about this year's camp, called "STAY WARM"...
When cold weather hits, we bundle up—jackets, gloves, beanies, scarves—whatever it takes to stay warm on the outside. But Jesus calls us to stay warm on the inside, too. Not just in winter, but all year long.
This year, at Preteen Winter Camp, we’ll explore what it means to keep our faith alive, active, and burning with God’s love. Romans 12:11 says, “Stay excited about the Lord as you serve others.” In other words, don’t let your fire for Jesus burn out—keep it hot, fueled, and ready to warm the lives around you.
We can’t predict how cold it will be outside at camp, but we can prepare our hearts to carry the warmth of Jesus into a cold world. As students learn what it takes to STAY WARM, they’ll discover the spiritual tools they need to keep their faith strong—and to share that warmth with friends, family, and classmates back home.
Be praying for snow—and for God to remove any obstacles that would keep your students from experiencing the warmth of His presence in a powerful way. With sled runs, zip lines, climbing walls, archery tag, hatchet throwing, hot chocolate, cabin talks, great friends, and mountaintop moments with Jesus… Winter Camp is the perfect place to STAY WARM.
